Masia Fontanal is a spectacular property just 10 minutes from Sitges. It is 25 minutes from Barcelona airport and 40 minutes to Barcelona city centre.
The original building dates back to the 16th century. Guests staying here will enjoy the rustic feel of a Manor house. Nevertheless, it comes with all the modern-day lifestyle amenities such as Wi-Fi, outdoor gym, yoga platform, in house cinema and more.
General overview
The Estate House has been renovated and refurbished to exquisite high standards. It has many nooks and crannies; all presented in a unique and beautiful standard. The current owners take huge pride in the house and in providing a unique experience to their guests.
Although many of the original features of a Manor house have been retained, guests will enjoy high-end modern living standards. There is an eclectic mix of art and decoration throughout the house which will inspire the creative souls of all who stay.
The views are dramatic given its proximity to the Garraf Natural Parc. There are sea views and mountain views from almost all areas of the house. The entire estate is privately owned and has over 1,300m2 for guests to utilize and arrange for private events.
Any event organized here will be a success based on the location, the quality and the services delivered to each and every guest.
Masia Fontanal – Layout
Main house
The main house is beautifully restored. It is perfect for large family reunion, a corporate retreat and is very popular as a wedding venue.
There are 13 en-suite bedrooms in Masia Almiral de la font which sleeps 28 people in total. Seven twin/double bedrooms. Three 2-bedroom suites. All bedrooms have en suite facilities.
Cottage
Just 10 metres from the main villa is a self-contained cottage unit. The cottage has its own kitchen and bathroom. It will sleep 4-5 people (Note: Only rented to those in the main house – price on request)
Exteriors
Most events will be held on the front of the property where a cool tiled & shaded courtyard overlooks the local countryside. There are also wonderful sea views from this courtyard.
You may not want to leave this property at all during your stay. However, if you do decide to venture outside this paradise, there are some wonderful trips nearby.
